Wicca

I'm not entirely comfortable categorizing myself as a Wiccan, but I feel it's the most appropriate definition for my faith... I believe in healing stones and the impact they have on a person's mental state... I don't believe they have physical healing powers, but I stand by the power of the mind- if you believe they will help you, then they will.

Gods-wise, I don't know. I used to associate myself with Artemis, but now... I don't know. My mind screams Achelois, who is a minor moon goddess, but I am drawn to the sun. That part I need to do more research on.

I know it's silly to ask, but what do you guys think? Not that I need to give my faith a name, I just would like to know your views.

Wicca is a fantastic belief system consistently ruined and put down by high school kids who think they're doin' it right. -.- I hate the 'Wicca' phase everyone seems to go through. However, if you're over that part of your life, and you've still stuck to it as a genuine love- many, many kudos. <3

Oh yeah, this has been my way since I was confirmed by the Catholic church and freed from religion classes. So, age 16? I'm almost 28 now.

I've been flirting with it since I was about 14. My mum freaked out once when she saw I'd been searching about it online (stereotypical wicca=satanism brain fart), even though I knew it wasn't a bad thing. I've played with crystals, wood and lore most of my life.

Similar to you, Quill, I'm not entirely right about calling myself a Wiccan or a Pagan. I don't know what to classify myself as at all but, then again, why the hell should we?
