It kind of shows Hollywood and Disney have no original Ideas or anything new so they happy to recycle old films and update them.
While I am intrigued and most likely will go and see it, I do worry if the magic that made the first film a success will be lost in a remake, especially if its all CGI.

I think this has the potential to be interesting, especially if they take a whole new angle on the story like I suggested in another thread! What if this re-imagining has Nala as the protagonist and recounts the events of the original movie from her perspective? And maybe the creators of the movie wouldn't be aware of SP, but what if we finally got a canon explanation on where Zira and her lionesses came from?
I think everyone who graduates high school instantly reverts back to how they were as a little kid. That's probably why I'm back here after all this time. Not a Powerkat anymore, just a humble community college student having feelings and thoughts about my favorite story. Guess there's really something to the circle of life.
