Ok. I am trying to figure out my cintiq and it's colorations compared to my laptop's monitor and it is p*ssing me off.

What color does his main fur color look? Grey or brown?

To me, honestly, I find it gray. I switched the brightness on my computer monitor and it all looks gray to me. I do see a touch of brown though, and it probably only looks gray because the mane is so red.

It's a bown-gray with the brown being more prevalent.

How is it? Is it so awesome as they say and as it looks? Not mentioning this color problem of course, that's more like a matter of monitor.

Thanks everyone. I figure this brown was just an awkward shade that looks brown to some or grey to some. I tweaked it some and in the final version made it more obviously brown.

I am finally getting used to the cintiq and jdkgkdorjhgjd amazing. I do enjoy it. Its fun and easier for me to draw on than my intuos3 was. Not cheap though. We had an exceptional tax refund so... :U cintiq.

Why don't we apply some measurements to this? The colors RGB values are 108, 88, and 77. For true shades of gray, all three of those numbers would be the same thing. Therefore, we know it's not completely gray. The most prominent component of brown is red, which this color also has. It's somewhere between gray and brown.
