new me. new fursona.

I was going to add this to my recent thread, but decided I'd make use of the Spotlight board instead. Feel free to comment and/or criticize

And no, I'm not sure what exactly she is.

That's quite a change. I really did adore the design of the old Quill, but that's ok. Redesigns are refreshing and can better reflect you and changes in your life. =)

The rings aren't my thing but the markings are nice and I really like the quill going through the ear, it's a nice touch.

Thanks ^^ the little details are my irl characteristics (bands, nose ring, toe ring, glasses, black nails on one hand), not typically something I'd put on a character

edit: no glasses version http://fanart.lionking.org/Artists/Q...lnoglasses.jpg

It's amazing the difference adding or removing glass on a character can make. It's like having a friend who you -always- see with glasses on, and then you take them off and they look like a completely different person XD

Can see the face better without the glasses, details and all that, looks really pretty. Also, I think it's neat that you incorporated your irl characteristics onto your character. Makes them closer to you.

Decided she's a genet XD lol. Not sure how I drew a species without knowing what it was.

The body's too canine to be a genet ATM but I guess next time you draw her (now that you know what she is) she'll look more genet-y? C: They're really pretty animals.

I like the glasses a lot, and the quill in the ear is a really neat touch.

You noticed I started out wanting her to be a fennec, but the tail totally changed her look. I kind of like the bigger build, so I might keep it. Not sure yet.

Well, with all of the "original species" I don't see any problem in having a hybrids of sorts. A genet+fennec fox mix...

I really love the quill in the ear, it's fitting to the name, and I really like this design better. It seemed like the other one had just...gone through one too many and was being overdone, which I can understand. My own fursona has done the same thing, I finally just stuck with something that /I/ was happy with, and not worry about everybody else.

The black claws on one paw is cute too. C: I really do like this design. ^^
