I have known Kaz for so long now, even when Lilymud was back in it's infancy as TLKFAMB. I will miss her so much. We didn't talk much, but she was something special.

Is there anyone local who can give EN any support? She must be beside herself.

You're right, Astro. Kaza suffered from EDS for a very long time and that's what caused her stroke. I hope to be at Kaza's Memorial service if I can find the transportation Friday (I will find a way). EN and I live in the same city and Im hoping to see her very soon.

I actually had no idea EDS could be potentually fatal until I looked it up on Wiki. It sounded to me she had "Vascular" EDS, why that of all the known cases? :(

Just a suggestion, should someone post messages of love in an online condolences book to take to the Memorial? Since a lot of us knew her, I'm wondering if this is even possible.

Ameya is and always will be loved. I miss her so much.

She changed me so much for the better. I think a good way to never forget her is to commit random acts of kindness.

I was stunned when I read this. I never spoke with her personally, as many others said before, but I always noted her as a kind and considerate person. I never knew that she was sick and I can say that this community will miss her greatly. My thoughts and prayers sent out to EN and her family.

I didn't really know her and only saw her around here so often so i never knew of her illness, but its sad to know she passed away.
I hope her family will be okay during this time, my thoughts are with them as well as those of you who were good friends with her.

I can remember the day Kaza joined this community, right down to what art she was using as her avatar. The 'Mud has lost someone who was truly special.

May there be luvluv and weathervanes wherever you are, Kaza.

I read all the posts left in her artists comments in the last couple of days and a few on this thread. I never knew her, though I may have seen her around the mud from time to time. Gosh, I'm getting all teary eyed.

She sounds like a very sweet person, I just wish I could have known her.

Rest in peace, Kaza. She was (God, it doesn't feel right to use the past tense) one of the nicest and most helpful people I've ever met. I just can't believe she's gone.

How sad... This reminds me when an online friend of mine died from an old message board I went to... We met in 2000 and he was one of most favorite members there. He died in October of 2006 at the very young age of 18. I was shocked, it was so sad and I still feel sad about it today.

I never knew Kaza, but I still feel sad she has passed, especially at such a young age. I did talk to EN quite a few years ago, and I really feel for her. RIP young Kaza...

Wow, I've never talked to or seen her other than seeing her name posted a few places, but judging by the reaction she must have been a wonderful person. My sympathies are with her family especially.

God, she was an amazing person.
I wish I had talked to her more, but from what little contact we had, I am comfortable in saying how incredible of a person she was.

She is very, very much loved here on Earth, and missed just as much.

I can only believe that she's no longer in pain and watching over her friends and family now.

Wow. That was such a shock to me. Kazamidori was really an amazing person and artist. She was so friendly. I did not know she was that sick. It is truly sad to lose someone like her in this community.

Rest in Peace Kazamidori.

I said I'd never post here again, but I have to share my thoughts too.

I can personally say that Kazamidori was one of the sweetest, strangest (in a BRILLIANT way, I can assure you) and most adorable people ever.

She and I did have ups and downs, silly online rows that I really wish had never happened, but hey. That's life. We DID speak I think ... maybe several years ago, and we were on friendly terms and I am so thankful for that. <3

Whenever Kaz mentioned her illness (which, it has to be said, was not a lot - she didn't let it get in the way of her fun online), I felt strange inside - terrified to think that one day, she would not be here, and worse still, I might not even know. That's the issue with online friendships.

I heard from Koudoawaia, or rather, I saw her beautiful tribute picture to Kaz featuring Blue Heaven and at first, I was sort of like; "oh right-" and then it dawned on me. It was /real/. It's so hard to believe, yet, in an odd way, I am sort of happy. I know that Kaz went through a lot of pain with the illness and I am glad that's over for her.

My heart goes out to her family, especially her twin sister, Endless Night.
I can't imagine how she must be feeling right now.

The bright side to this is that Ameya's beautiful and unique artwork is still online for everyone to see. Its a testement to a lady who had a truly beautiful soul. Someone who is probably wherever-she-is now smiling about all these lovely tributes, sending images of pretty headwinged lions and weathervanes....

Rest in peace, Kazamidori.
And stay strong, Endless Night.

I never knew Kazi was sick, let alone had a stroke.. really sad indeed.. though it 's extremely heartwarming to see people who I haven't seen in a long time.. *pokes Sharifu and Air Guitar* come out of the woodwork to remember her..

my prayers are with EN and her Family...

Check out post #52. Astro and Air gave the summary of what the disease is. There seem to be many types of it but if I have the chance, look around for something called Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome.

Because I was an idiot and forgot to say it before:

Goodbye Kaz, you brought so much to Lilymud and the world.

Sorry guys, I was going to try to put this all together before the memorial but it's tomorrow afternoon and my time was very limited.

Everyone's words are so kind...I think it will mean a lot to EN to view this memorial thread, whenever that may be.
