hi im new here and on the archive,

not sure what else to say xD

i dont have any friends yet on the archive, i just found it and thought it be fun to draw lion king

Yeah, not nearly as many people frequent the board anymore. Unfortunately, that means that we don't have the plethora of interesting topics that we used to.

Those of us who are left are still pretty fun people, I think, so hopefully you'll enjoy your stay regardless.

Yeah, waiting for approval is a pain, Brian will usually get to pictures on weekday evenings. Once you have 50 pictures, though, you can request auto-approval and no more waiting!

Anyway, glad to have you!

auto aproval? wow that be so useful! ive been waiting for ever, i got 3 now and i have 7 pending.. also 1 for a girl i want to adobt a lion from but im afraid now that she will pick someone else cuz its taking sooooo long to get my pic thru,

50 pix is a lot tho,

Essentially a secret santa in general, everybody involved puts their name into a hat, shuffles it around, draws out a name, and gets a gift for the person whose name they've drawn without telling that person. In this case, Timitu draws the names for you, and you draw a picture for the person whose name you got, all while keeping it a secret c: At the end of the deadline, she'll send the pictures out to the recipients, and you'll be surprised with a picture that somebody has drawn just for you C: It's one of my favorite things about christmastime. The mini-santas are great fun as well, the last one she had was themed, each picture had to be inspired by a song c:

but how do i know what to draw? do i look at the persons gallery for chars to draw?

The Secret Santa is sort of like an art trade. But you don't know who is drawing for you. And you must keep secret who your drawing for. But everyone does a picture for someone else, and in return they get a picture from another member who is also signed up. This year will be the 10 year anniversary of the Lilymud Secret Santa.

When signing up each person posts between 1 and 5 characters that they would like to see drawn. The person drawing for them has to include at least ONE of those characters in the picture. They can choose to do all 5 if they wish but at least one must be in the picture.

The mini ones are a great way to see what it is like. And meet a few other artists. This next secret santa will be a very simple one. I wont give away the theme just yet... but it is specially made so everyone should have no problem getting their picture in on time even though it is close to high school exam times.
